Sternstunden der Menschheit (English: Decisive Moments in History) is a 1927 history book by the Austrian writer Stefan Zweig. It started off with only five miniatures in its first edition and grew to a collection of 14 with later editions. The edition here is a reprint (S. Fischer, Frankfurt a. M., 1982) of the edition by Behrmann-Fischer (Stockholm, 1943), containing 12 of the 14 miniatures. The miniatures relate historical events that changed the world.--Wikipedia.
