Author Bio for Gerard, Louise
Gerard, Louise (Amelia Louise Gerard) (1878–1970). The daughter of a Nottingham soap manufacturer, she started writing after leaving Nottingham High School. She was at first hailed as a promising addition to the ranks of sensational writers. She published twenty-three titles in all to 1936, all with Mills & Boon. She was an enthusiastic traveller and an FRGS.—Oxford Reference
