Author Bio for Pound, Arthur
Arthur Pound (1884-1966) was an American journalist and professor of history. He worked for a variety of newspapers as an editor and editorial writer between 1913 and 1940. From 1935-1936 he was a research professor of American history at the University of Pittsburgh. From 1940 to 1944 he served as state historian and Director of the Division of Archives and History for New York. (University of Michigan)
