Author Bio for Le Moine, Sir James MacPherson

J. M. (James MacPherson) Le Moine (1825-1912) was a Canadian historian. A Quebec City based lawyer, he was also an avid naturalist, studying birds and other parts of nature. He travelled widely and published travelogues on the St. Lawrence River and Quebec. He also wrote a book on birds, Ornithologie du Canada.
