Author Bio for Adams, Eustace L.
Eustace L. (Lane) Adams was born on July 12, 1891 in Saco, Maine. He was an ambulance driver in World War I, accepted into the Lafayette Escadrille, and a Reserve Naval Aviator from 1918-1921. In 1928, Fifteen Days in the Air, the first of his Andy Lane series, was published. He also wrote for magazines like Argosy, contributed to the Air Combat Stories for Boys, and published numerous short stories in journals like Argosy. Four of his stories were turned into films in the ‘30s and ‘40s. He died on March 1, 1963 in Clewiston, Florida.
