Author Bio for Boughton, Henrietta Breckenridge
Henrietta Boughton, née Breckenridge, pen name Barbara Young, was born in 1878 and died in 1961. She was an art and literary critic at the New York Times early in the 20th century, and a poet. She met Kahlil Gibran at a reading of his work The Prophet and became his personal secretary from 1925 until his death in 1931.
