Author Bio for Pertwee, Roland
Roland Pertwee (1885-1963) was a British playwright and writer. After the First World War he retired from the army and began to write scripts for movies in the newly established film industry. He not only wrote but acted and directed in films. He also wrote several plays and other books which we are pleased to present to you here on Faded Page. One notable fact is that he is the father of Jon Pertwee who portrayed Doctor Who in the early 1970's. (Librivox)
