Author Bio for Fraser, Donald A.
Donald Andrew Fraser (1875-1948) was a Canadian teacher and author. He was born in Port Elgin, Ontario but early in his life he moved to Victoria, British Columbia. He began teaching in 1901, a vocation he continued for the rest of his life. He edited the Public School Magazine from 1918-1931 and was a member of the Canadian Authors' Association. He also served on the executive of the British Columbia Historical Association. He composed several books of poetry, notably "Pebbles and Shells" (1909) and "My Nugget-Poke" (1948).
