Author Bio for Brudno, Ezra Selig
Ezra Brudno (1877-1954) was a Jewish American author. Born in Valozhyn, Russia, of Lithuanian-Jewish heritage, his family emigrated to the United States in 1891. Trained a lawyer he started to write in 1904. He wrote five books in all as well as many articles in magazines and newspapers. In his writings he portrayed Judaism and Jewish culture as having little value and promoted the assimilation of Jews into western civilization.
