Author Bio for Carman, Albert

Albert Carman (1833-1917) was a Canadian clergyman. Born in Ontario, he was trained as priest in the Episcopal Church. He was ordained as a deacon in 1859. He progressed through the church hierarchy and became general superintendent in 1883, a post he held until 1915. He died in Toronto in 1917. (Macmillan Dictionary of Canadian Biography)
