Author Bio for Wood, Louis Aubrey
Louis Aubrey Wood (1883-1955) was a Canadian teacher and author. He was born in London, Ontario. He completed a PhD at the University of Heidelberg in 1911. He started his career teaching at the University of Western Ontario in 1914 eventually becoming a professor of economics at the University of Oregon. He wrote several books on Canadian history, notably The Red River Colony and A History of Farmers' Movements in Canada. (MacMillan Dictionary of Canadian Biography)
