Author Bio for Auzias-Turenne, Raymond
Raymond Auzias-Turenne (1861-1940) was a French businessman and writer. Born in France to aristocratic parents, he emigrated to South Dakota where he worked as a mining engineer and rancher. In 1890 he moved to Montreal where he ran a small company. In 1898, he went to Dawson City as the French-Consul for France and after five years he moved to Seattle where he managed a banking business. During his life he wrote several novels including "Le Roi Du Klondike" and "République Royale". (Bell Barn Society)
